The centerpiece of one of Pittsburgh’s most developing areas, the Bakery Square project consisted of the renovation of a former bakery building into luxury apartments. The existing bakery building was a masonry structure of the highest order, but it had fallen into disrepair.
The existing bakery building was a masonry structure of the highest order, but it had fallen into disrepair. Franco was responsible for cleaning and repointing the façade, rebuilding the structural masonry piers, and replicating the existing exterior components with new cast stone and granite, creating one of the most desirable new addresses in Pittsburgh.
