Rebecca Snyder, President of Franco Associates, was recently featured in WHIRL Magazine in recognition of her efforts as a Hillman Cancer Center Gala co-chair for the second consecutive year. Franco Associates is proud to offer continuing support for the Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and the UPMC CancerCenter, including their involvement in the construction of the Hillman Cancer Center.
Snyder and co-chairs Christina and Carlos Cardoso aim to diffuse awareness of the Center and celebrate the partners, physicians and clinicians responsible for its success. The theme of the gala, which will take place on October 24 at CONSOL Energy Center, is Living Courageously: A Future Without Cancer, the goal of Snyder’s awareness efforts. Last year’s gala raised $5.5 million in support of cancer research at UPCI and patient care at UPMC CancerCenter.
