Franco has been the recipient of numerous awards for masonry skill and craftsmanship over the past several years. Specifically, Franco has been awarded Golden Trowel Awards by the International Masonry Institute for the Erie Federal Building, Theater Square, Margaret Morrison Rotunda at Carnegie Mellon University, South Brook Middle School, Watersteps at the North Shore Riverfront Park, the North Shore Parking Garage, PNC Park, Seton Hill Performing Arts Center, Children’s Home of Pittsburgh, South Side Works Complex, Del Monte Center, and the U.S. Federal Courthouse in Boston, Massachusetts.

Franco has been awarded the Superior Accomplishment Award by the United States General Services Administration for the U.S. Federal Courthouse in Boston, Massachusetts. Franco has also been awarded craftsmanship awards by the Master Builders Association of Western Pennsylvania for Doherty Hall at Carnegie Mellon University, PNC Bank Lobby Renovations, Pittsburgh CAPA School, Allegheny County Jail Adaptive Reuse, Gates Center at Carnegie Mellon University, Heinz Field, and Consol Energy Center.

Gold MarCom Award Winner

Franco Associates was honored with Gold Level recognition MarCom Awards for its logo design. The MarCom Awards is a creative competition for any individual or company involved in the concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. The MarCom competition has grown to perhaps the largest of its kind in the world with about 6,000 entries per year. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individuals to media conglomerates and Fortune 50 companies. The competition is so well thought of in the industry that national public relations organizations, local ad clubs, and local business communicator chapters are entrants year after year.
