Franco has performed a variety of masonry restoration services, such as Verizon II, The Point State Park Fountain, the Masonic Temple, and Carnegie Mellon University’s Scott Hall (seen above). The goal of all of our restoration projects is to restore, preserve and maintain the integrity and beauty of the existing structures. Areas of restoration include copings, cornices, projecting elements such as belt-course, water tables and ornamentation, repairs to masonry units, mortar and sealant joints that are broken, cracked, missing, loose or are otherwise defective are repaired sooner rather than later.

Property Maintenance

Problematic water infiltration through masonry walls attack steel lintels, shelf angels, anchors and wall ties that can result in more costly repairs. When properly maintained and repaired, most masonry buildings will last beyond our own lifetime.
